Movement III is one of the most challenging of all of the movements and one of the more unusual licks is the key tremolo in the measure before C. I finger A flat holding by down the low C sharp key and quickly play A flat again by quickly finger low C sharp but playing A flat by over blowing low C sharp. Or more simply put going back and fourth between the regular fingering and the overtone fingering like one if Michael Brecker’s licks.

The licks at H are very difficult rapid altissimo passages, I use the following altissimo fingerings:

  • G - X+4+Ta
  • G# - X+Ta
  • B - C1

It is still challenging with these fingerings but these are the easiest ones I have found.

Movement II is a very beautiful lament. The four measures before I have a very powerful altissimo line that needs to be spot on. I play The altissimo by over blowing palm key F# for high D#, F for high D, E for high C♯ , E flat for high C, and D for high B.
